Leaves In The Winter WindSnow don't you know?
That you mean winter
And winter means wind
And wind means cold.
The wind will cradle us
As we tumble through the air
And cling on to each other
Until the wind forces us apart.
We were doomed
From the very moment we decided to leave home,
And even at home we had grown weary
But now we're whistling
In the raging winter wind
As we plummet towards the ground,
But get picked back up again.
We're flung against each other
And bashed into anything you could imagine
It is not a pleasant feeling,
But at least we have each other.
The icy air tingles down my spine
And I can feel myself drifting away
You try to catch me,
But I have floated off on my own journey.
I landed on the ground
For what felt like a second,
But someone stepped on me.
